Shalom, on 13th August 2011, we had a gotong royong at St henry Church Batu Pahat, It's a great opportunity for us to contribute to the church. We begin our gotong royong on the afternoon and finished at around 3 pm.

The Blessing & Opening of Dewan St Henry

Shalom, on 7th August 2011, the dewan St Henry was officially opened and blessed by Bishop Paul Tan. It was a historic moment for St Henry Church. The project was proposed since 2001 and now it's officially opened & blessed.Thanks be to GOD. ROCKers are also present during the mass & ceremony as we are the part of the church. GOD bless.

First Prayer Meeting for 2011/2012 Session

Shalom, this is our first Prayer Meeting for 2011/2012 session. On our first PM, we had praise & worship, sharing, intercession, love offering, core group formation and sing along. Some had their first prayer meeting experience and still felt shy. The sharing of the day is about doing things that will please the Lord especially our talent, ROCKers are told to use their talent and explore it to Glorify GOD. P/S: It was a few of us because some ROCKErs went home for holiday. That's all. GOD bless. :)

24 July 2011, It was another great day, ROCKers joined the Church Family day, and everyone had an enjoyable day, we get to know the parishioner, and even deepen our relationship. Welcoming New ROCKers family

Shalom, we are CSS ROCK. Good news, on 3 July 2011 after the Sunday Mass, we had our gathering to welcome new ROCKers family, mainly IPTHO teachers & UTHM diploma student. 11 ROCKers family joined us during the gathering, some of them unavailable for some reason but it was a blast & we have lunch, Praise & Worship, Ice Breaking, CSS Introduction & Video session. There's a lot of work need to be done this semester, and the next welcoming gathering will be on september when the Degree Students come for the new semester. It'll be a great challenge for 2011/2012, but we'll face it as a family and Grow together in the Unity & Love of GOD. GOD bless!

2011 Easter, we the ROCKers celebrate the Easter at St Henry Church Batu Pahat, although we are far away from home, but the Love that we felt among ROCKers make us realize that in CHRIST we are family. Evryone enjoy the easter and right after the mass ended, we have fellwoship with the parishioner. There were a lot of food and we rock the food. :D. Thanks Fr Lawrence for his kindness, we also have blessing for our final exam by Fr Lawrence. FYI, 1 day before easter, during the HOLY Thursday, we did a lil fundraising by selling some sandwiches and drinks, thanks to our sporting parishioner we manage to rasie fund for our CSS. CSS ROCK Annual General Meeting was held On 27th March 2011 after the Sunday Mass. The old Committee was dissolved and the new Committee was elected. The are many candidate being suggested and at the end the election was over and the new committee was elected. You can see the pictures above to have more view on that day.

Welcoming Junior Party 2010/2011

25/07/2010 Css Rock organized Welcoming Junior Party for juniors at St Henry Church. Thanks to the seniors for their hard work in preparing the food and tentative. Slept less than 2 hours the night before the party. Lol.

Party started after Sunday Mass like usual in the hall behind the church. There were ice breaking songs for them to move around and know each others since this is the first time for some of them to got into this kind of atmosphere. Mentor and mentee system was introduced where all the juniors were divided into groups and they were asked to choose their mentor. And these mentor were assigned to take care of their juniors the whole semester. So Juniors! If u got any complains about the seniors, please dun hesitate to contact our Mr President. Hehehe.
